Hi all, i've just completed beyond the desert, and i'm really confused now, i've been reading a lot of ppl saying some heroes dont work any further, etc.. so i'll try to explain my doubts and w8 for some help

so im gonna list the heroes i've got and the ones im doubting about, hope someone could tell me what i could use em for and what i cant use em for (sorry if i write names wrong, im playing at spanish):

Dionisus: right now, got him dual washed, planning to use him with maxed armor (purple) and maxed chimera/kylin (havent completed kylin yet,but would like to know if getting one could make me keep dionisus usefull at lvl 130maps), need to know if he will be good enought at lvl 130 maps with this settings.
Onirei: obviously i allready know about the answer about him, also got him dual washed.
Heimdal: know about him, im still getting him rdy.
syrinx: know about her, will go out soon i guess.
Hemera: really bad that i didnt train her, im planning to dual wash her and get her max lvl.
Aether: im really doubting about starting to train this hero, was a real fail to not do it b4, my doubt is if i should train him now that im lvl 120, is it too late? will he be usefull at lvl 130 maps?
Asclepius: dont have him trained neither, but i've seen he is really usefull, any sugestions?
Thrud: seems very usefull for some npcs, not planning to train him as i got many heroes to train b4 him.
Mist: also doubting about this hero, accepting sugestions (would only train her if its fully necessary, as i dont have any books).
Rhea: trained this hero for desert and helped me alot, i've read she is useless, i hope u can clear my doubts on her.
Asteria: not planning to train her, accepting sugestions (notice that i dont have any red/purple book).
Sult: i though his dmg was too low, but many ppl using him, any sugestions?

so for the moment i've got:

- syrinx
- onirei
- cronus
-eris
- lachesis
- heimdal
- rhea
also i guess u should know the weapons i've got:
2 chimeras G11-10
1 laevetein G8-6
1 laevetein G1
i could make 1more chimera/kylin if needed.
also could get 1 book for asclepius but i dont find it one of my priorities as can heal good enought with out one.
hope u can help me decide on some changes.
i think this is all so far, im w8ing for any type of sugestions as right now im really lost, thnx to every1 who has posted his battle reports at this forum or batheos forum, really helped me alot, also really thnx for the information u all guys have shared.

P.D: sugestions needed for pve and pvp, as game changes completly the more u lvl.
also notice im still at version 1.0, so cant enhance gear yet, but i'll do it as soon as version 2 comes out.

okey so i've been watching more and more BRs, i've got this conclusions so far, but accepting sugestions as allways:

Dionisus Dual Wash hoping to use him until Lost Temple
Onirei Dual Wash for ever atm
Rhea Dual Wash will try to use her to open way to skuld, kick her after that
Sult Dual Wash Undefined, any idea?
Hemera Dual Wash Until i can swap for anubis i guess?
Aether Dual Wash Undefined, would need someones help for this hero
Chronus Undefined Undefined , my idea is to just wash his valor, sugestions?
Lachesis Undefined Undefined, my idea is to just wash her valor, sugestions?
Eris Undefined Undefined, just valor wash, sugestions?
Heimdal Valor Undefined, sugestions?
Asclepius Valor? Undefined, maybe wash dual with elemental for tanking mages? sugestions?
Asteria Dual Wash Undefined, would she be usefull with red book?
Thrud Valor Undefined, maybe swapping for lvl 140, continuous strike in line?
Anubis Dual Wash Undefined, does it work 60% valor and 40% spirit?
Syrinx Spirit Changing for Sult asap
Mist Dual wash Undefined, i were thinking of sult + mist combo? sugestions? maybe just asteria as mage? Would she work fine with a red book?

notice i got dionisus allready dual washed and max lvl, thats why i wanna use him, so it doesnt turn into a waste of laureles and xp.
rhea 1 ren to get maxed, dual washed allready, dont want it to be a waste.
my biggest doubts are at:
- Aether: would it be recommended to start training him now that im lvl 120? not usefull since this point?
- Asteria, Mist or both?: sugestions? red book enough? need purple book?
- Thrud: as i dont have any strike in line, i think this hero could be helpfull, sugestions?

i hope this helps clear some doubts to all the athenian ppl, as we got a hard job on choosing heroes, still taking any sugestions / corrections.

While I am not Athenian, I will offer my 2 cents in regards to the recruitable Mercs.

Rhea: I started to train Rhea, but then I felt I could do fine without her so I dropped her. I can't really comment other than that about her.

Hel: I may go back and recruit Hel just see how she does. As I have read that critical hit archers are all pretty strong I would like to see if this holds true with Hel as well. I have too many heroes and not enough slots so not sure if or when I might do this.

Heimdall: I have Heimdall recruited and trained but have not used him much yet. I single washed him for valor but might go back and dual wash him later. Right now I plan to use him in PvE for the monster mech battles. For PvP the only possible use I can see would be to counter a setup using Thrud, however he will be taking some pretty good damage prior to getting his counterattack up.

Sult: I haven't been able to recruit Sult yet, but I think Sult is excellent for reaching the back lines and hidden mages. Dual wash for Valor and Spirit to achieve maximum damage.

Edjo: I recruited Edjo since I have been unable to pick up Sult. I am hoping to use him in both PvP and PvE. Dual washing him with Valor and Spirit. For PvP I am hoping his stun can help to prevent enemy morale buffs or prevent a round of damage. He is pretty weak to mages though. For PvE similar plan to stun main damage dealer or stun buglers/dancers/healers.

Mist: I don't plan to recruit Mist right now simply because I don't have any books at the moment. However shortly I will get red book from Valkyries Rage and perhaps I could make use of Mist with that book. But I think since I already have chosen too many heroes I probably won't use her.

Thrud: I am planning to recruit Thrud for both PvP and PvE. I think Thruds heavy early damage can be used effectively in PvP. And in the maps I plan to use Thrud to reach some of the hidden mages. I will dual wash Thrud with Valor for obvious reasons and Spirit to give him a little better BM resistance.

Skuld: I will recruit Skuld for both PvE and PvP and dual wash Valor and Spirit. Hope to use Skuld to get early big hits in all battles. I think early big hits are key to winning many battles.

Isis: I haven't read much information about Isis, so can't really comment about this hero.

Nut: I haven't read much information about Nut either, so I can't really make any comments here. I think perhaps based on the description of chariot that Nut might be used as a tank.

Anubis: I will recruit Anubis and dual wash Valor and Spirit. I think Anubis will be very helpful in PvE to one hit mages and mechs. For PvP I think a well placed Anubis will help to win some battles that may appear lost early on.


I have obviously selected more heroes than I have slots, but I figure that as I move thru the maps new heroes will replace old ones. Only time will tell how my plans evolve.

first of all, thnx for ur answer, i did never think about training skuld, is he really that good?
i actually did think about edjo's stun, but as he needs dual wash and stun isnt 100%, i dont think i go for him.
seems we will need to train a lot of heroes since now on

I don't think Skuld damage is good. He is infantry type and mainly a broken elemental tank. I would go for Sult instead of Skuld, if I have enough ressources.

Orochi Wrote:hel is basically aether/palaemon, but needs both valor+spr wash and weap+mount for damage. so she's decent, but costs twice as much (stats aint bad but aint that good either)

Sult is the most useful continuous BM until Anubis, but you can go for Edjo if you have enough training spots.


Yes, it's a hard job choosing heroes for Athenian and Poseidonian faction at such high level.
