Hi all, i'd like to know if any1 knows to calculate the damage a mage can do, i've got this far:

lvl 120 elemental penetration = 1440
for example a +1000 book
thats 2440

lvl 120 elemental resistance = 960 (672 real defense) [ i say real defense coz i calculated for a long time and the defense u get just acts in a 70% to the damage you take, correct me if im wrong].
thats 2440 - (960 * 0.7) = 1768 if u add for example 55% damage from attributes (if ur fighting someone with elemental attributes too, this % would change) = 2740 damage.

so i guess each mage has a % damage influenced by the % hit chance, does any1 know the % damage for each mage?
could it be for example hephaestus 90% hit chance, 90% damage, and then the lower hit chance the higher damage? thunder mage 50% hit chance, 130% damage? its just examples, hope u can help hehe.
if im wrong at any part of the calculation pls tell me Smile
diff mage types do different dmg, and yes the lower the hit rate the higher the damage per hit. eg pyro = highest hit rate = lowest damage, hydro = medium hit rate = medium damage, thunderstorm = low hit rate = highest dmg. cant tell u the exact dmg % for each type of mage cause i aint hardworking enough to test it out extensively.

as for the damage formula.. there's a lot involved to factor in.. book ele hit+hero troop grade+tech level+ele wash+ele enchant+prestige rank bonus+dmg bonus from troop type+morale of opponent etc... depending on the ele stats of the opponent the dmg would range from roughly 65% to 135% based on whether the opponents ele stats is within -/+ 50 to 55 stats of yours. that's the factors that affect damage, can't help u with the exact damage formula cause i'm not gonna go through the math.. understanding the mechanics is enough for me lol.
thnx for ur answer Smile i've seen some of ur BR hehe thnx for em too.
i'll write out if i find something new.
