from what Squinters said:

The asian servers (original game) divide the game into 3 phases: the spender's phase, the skill/knowledge phase, and the luck phase.

The biggest advantage for VIPs is not at end game, it is early game. They have the ability to train multiple heroes, upgrade buildings faster, and stat thresholds are very easy to reach for lower maps so having triple washed heroes means breezing through.

The skill/knowledge phase refers to training specific heroes and planning accordingly to advance with lowest gear requirements and avoiding wasting time training short-lived heroes.

Finally, post-Nils is considered entirely the luck phase. In this phase, VIPs have essentially no advantage over non-VIPs. stat thresholds are so hard to reach, triple washing for the most part makes no sense (i.e. reaching 370 for oly is generally impractical), and also having added training/building spots hardly matters. The reason for all of this? Arms and enchants. Most people will complete their training and building well before their arm upgrades. and vip's have no advantage in this regard. they can buy divs, buy purple books to melt for gems. But the end result is still a need for luck, there is a high probability all that gold spent would result in going backwards.

All end-game discussion comes down to arms, drachs aren't an issues and with arms, the luckiest move on.

Yeah, most of the weak high VIP players are weak because they spent too much time training a hero and washing him/her...

We have 2 VIP 0s on my server that are in Nils, one is on Elf and the other on Wind-Rush i believe...That's because they trained the right heroes Wink
for spending to truly make a difference is far beyond the scope of batheo... high level vip's don't even compare to top level players on asian servers.
