Just beat Elf several days ago, finally got to 140 after a month of struggling and raging over enchants, but it's finally done! [Image: redface.png]

Here are BRs, heros, enchants, arms i had available upon defeating Elf. It's pretty much the lowest possible hardware one would need to get 140. I hope it will help [Image: rolleyes.png]

Heroes
Hept is pretty useless in Nils, Mist serves much better cause of strike-in-column.
Thunder mage is a must, unless you have very very good arms.
Anubis,Hept,Sult,Heim,Cronus double wash
Penus,Mist single wash

Armaments
Nils is pretty easy to beat with grade 0 arms, provided you have good enchants. A few grade 1-2 arms, especially ele attack, spirit attack, valour def can make life easier. But it's most economically efficient to concentrate on enchants first, get to 140, and upgrade red arms.

Enchants: 2 set valour (+60, +96), 2 set spirit (+96,+96), 2 set ele (+85,+76)
with similar enchants, basically 2 sets of each (+80), it shouldn't be too hard getting 140 with all g-0 arms.

Enhance:
2x mjollnir, chimera, rain comet maxed
4x ares maxed
2x red cloak maxed, 1x zues 5700
3x horn 2k, 2x 1.2k
other 1x ares and 2x red cloak was pretty bad

Can you comment on how good cloaks are, 3rd and 4th armors? Both books maxxed?

Do you think it's possible to defeat Elf with lower enchants (2 sets at around +50 for valor, spirit, elem)? I am still training Peneus for your setup, but I cannot tank mage dmg with any other setup I've tried.

You'll need luck and probably more than +50 enchants.

i had the same enchant (as pluton mentioned above) when i cleared elf too Smile

what i can say is.. if u have good enchant and armaments.. u won't need much luck. if u have neither good enchant nor armaments, u're gonna require a hella lot of luck and/or div spammage for munin n elf.

Dont bother with the bugler, 39% from ophion > -7 morale to them and +34 for anubis.

My BR doesnt get the top row getting the ophion hit which would have made it easier, however, eurotas is still getting nailed by the fire mage at +73 gemming, i think 320 might be the barrier for his dmg to come down and eurotas has rubbish stats..... my mist is +93 though.

I got away with a 3000 cloak on anubis and 12-6 on heimdall. Ophion is in my 3rd armor which is only 2500 also (2nd book was 13-8) - in short ophion tipped the balance i was expecting another week or so for gemming and enhancing.
