[Full Poseidon Guide] – From Trial to Temple! - Pluton - 04-09-2012 by vecspace [Full Poseidon guide] – From Trial to Temple Table of Content 1) Introduction 2) Hero Selection 3) Trial of Perseus to Faction Maps 4) Tartarus 5) Ragnarok 6) Beyond the Desert 7) Valkyries Rage 8) Chilly Mountain 9) Lost Temple 10) All Battle Reports 1) Introduction I believe there are many guides around for Poseidon including the sticky thread with the BRs all the way to lost temple. However, since Empire57 request for a Poseidon guide to be written in this manner, I will create one in inevitable format. Similarly to the zeusian guide, this is for efficient map progression with some advantage (mostly) and disadvantage. Disclaimer, this may not be the best method, but i presonally find it to be good enough Advantages: - Access to higher levels, new buildings, which results in faster training and more drachmas to work with. - Access to new and stronger heroes, as well as better equipment. Disadvantages: - Little focus on cloaks for the majority of the game, this may result in losing some player vs player (PvP) battles. Fast leveling compensate for that - Less laurels at your disposal when you constantly level up especially if you are at the top of the server It’s hard to give step by step instructions, you have to figure out a lot yourself for the most part. I can however show what the requirements for certain maps are and use BRs as examples. For full map BRs you can refer to my past threads from fraction map to temple. For this guide, as you progress, the priority for enhancement will be Mount, Armour, Cloak, Weapon, Horn. However, due to limited drachs just keep Mount and Armour high will do. The main technology will be Magic Penetration, Armour Forging, Elemental Resistance, Magic resistance and the 2 faculty tech and elixir. DOW will be very important for laurels laurels. RE: [Full Poseidon Guide] – From Trial to Temple! - Pluton - 04-09-2012 2) Hero selection Here are the heroes that you should end up using throughout all the maps: Trial of Perseus: Atelante + bellerophon Defence of Athens + beasts of the wilderness: Atelante + Bellerophon + Odysseus Jack and the beanstalk + Dispute of the golden Apple + Heath Aflame: Atelante + Odysseus + Amphitite (try to get her too) + Thoosa (you should have gotten her by then) Roaring Sea: Atelante + Hecate + Eris + Amphitite + Thoosa Falling Earth + Burning Sky + Endless Underworld Rivers + House of Hades Lotis (if you have gotten her) + Hecate + Eris + Amphitite + Asclepius Faction maps: Lotis + Hecate + Eris + Thoosa + Amphitite + Eurybia (for easy progression) Tartarus: Lotis + Thoosa + Eris + Eurybia + Hecate + Amphitite Ragnarok + Beyond the Desert + Valkyries Rage Lotis + Thoosa + Eris + Cronus + Eurybia + Nereus Chilly Mountain + Lost Temple: Lotis + Thoosa + Eris + Cronus + Eurybia + Nereus + Heph + Heimdall. (A few other specific heros will not be mention as they hardly require training) Total: 13 heroes trained (6 Main hero +2 for temple and beyond) RE: [Full Poseidon Guide] – From Trial to Temple! - Pluton - 04-09-2012 3) Trial of perseus to Faction Maps Trial of Perseus: Use atelante and bellerophon, upgrade the bronze sword and pigskin armor to G1/9, its simple really. (Or just follow the tutorial) Trojan War: Level up assembly to lvl 10, recruit odysseus. Start on your techs and upgrade lochoi formation to lvl 2 for Persephone. Map Reward is an Endless regret lvl 12 blue weapon. This will be the weapon for odysseus for the next 2 maps. Defense of Athens + Beasts in the Wilderness: Level up assembly and techs to lvl 12, give odysseus the endless regret, from there you could finish defence of Athens at level 12, if you are struggling move up to lvl 15 as you will need that level for beast of the wilderniss map. Heracles from Defense of Athens is easy at lvl 15. Asclepius might be slightly harder due to the stun mage, just try a couple of times to push your luck. You also can farm a Cyclops sword (green) for oddysseus to make map progression even easier. Jack and the Beanstalk + Labyrinth of Crete: The map reward from Defense of Athens is a blue mount, this will be Atelante’s temporary weapon until you obtain the map reward cychreides from Heath Aflame. Assembly will be further enhanced to lvl 25-30 for jack and the beanstalk. In the meanwhile, farm for prestige to obtain Thoosa and Amphitite, 2 heros that can last you a long long way. Heath Aflame + Dispute of the golden Apple: Assembly will go up to about lvl 40-42. Heath Aflame will give you the yellow mount cychreides which will be your most important equipment for quite a while. Keep Cychreides near max everytime you upgrade your assembly. Roaring Sea: Further upgrade assembly to lvl 51 so you can deploy the 5th hero. And obtain free commissioning. Falling Earth: This is where you can start recruiting lotis, so make sure you have 100k prestige when you hit this map. However, if you do not have the prestige atelante can do what lotis do for the next few map. You may want to consider slowly commission for a red mount when you hit this map. I personally obtained my red mount at Endless Underworld Rivers. at House of Hades you definitely want a red mount, because it saves drachmas and time if you don’t further invest in the yellow mount. Burning Sky: Assembly to lvl 60,, can start giving all your hero a first ren. Try not to stay in this level for too long. Endless Underworld Rivers: Assembly will go even higher to around lvl 80. Mount will be around +3200- 3500… preferably red mount by now. (Any value that can allows lotis to 1 shot most target) House of Hades: Assembly to lvl 87, Mount to +4000, heroes with ren levels at 80 or above and you should be in good shape for this map. Armors don’t have to be high here, 600 – 800 valor should be good enough. (however, it will be good to give lotis 1 max caged desire) Also, the progression slows down after HOH, camp at level 87 farm as many laurels as possible. Get your Training ground max and slowly ren all your heros. You can complete 75% of the faction map easily at level 87 or even complete the map. Level up after you have save at least half a million laurels. Start commissioning for your second red mount. Athena's Wisdom + Zeus Mercy: This is where you will be needing that red mount, as it will be maxed to assembly level (87 will do) . Make sure you continue farming enough laurels from HL2, Lotis should be always keep at max spirit wash. Max eris and amphitite valor wash too as she will be your main tank for now. Eurybia should be more or less ready. As you will only have 1 max red mount usually, give it to Eurybia if there is 1 bugler and 4 BM in the fight. Lotis will surely kill the bugler in 20 turns. Equipment by the end of faction maps. Mountegasus 5256, Chimera 3027 Cloak: 1200 average (they are useless for now) Armour: Immortal Flame 1319, Burning lava x3 1311 1221 1011 Caged Desire 816 (pure yellow armour work fine too) RE: [Full Poseidon Guide] – From Trial to Temple! - Pluton - 04-09-2012 4) Tartarus If you had followed the guide all the way till this point. You should be around level 87- 90 by the time Athena or Zeus fall. So now just do a few steps and tartarus will be a walk in the park 1. Max all your main tech at level 100. (As state in the introduction) 2. Max your red mount to level 100. 3. 1 more ren to all your supports hero and 2 more ren for hitter. 4. Focus on PVP, keep your prestige at above M47 to make things easier Equipment by the end of tartarus. Armour: 1877, 1566, 1221, 1011, 887 Mount: 6010, 3143 Cloak: 1200 average (they are useless for now) The Hard NPCs: Theia: http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201110063786570 Rhea: http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201110071766721 Phoebe:http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201110093027461 Mnemosyne: http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201110093188680 Cronus: http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201110093218768 RE: [Full Poseidon Guide] – From Trial to Temple! - Pluton - 04-09-2012 5) Ragnarok After Defeating Cronus, there are four things to do. 1. Try to recruit Cronus as soon as possible, he's the best Bugler. 2. Raise Assembly to 110, it'll unlock the 3rd training ground. (most important) 3. Farm Lv 80 Ares’ Armor. (from Themis, easily done with eurybia) 4. Get nereus ready Ragnarok is a fairly hard map due to the many mages that you will face. MF4 and PF1 are killers in the map. All tech have to be max at level 110 and continue rening your hero (after third TG is completed) In this map, you will unlock Heimdall (very important hero for temple and beyond), Hel (not worth recruiting) and Sult (great hero, but if you are following this guide, Sult isn’t needed) This is also the map when you are first expose to enchants. Get your armoury up and do plenty of Cronus vengeance for Gems to enchant. Now you will need to start commissioning for 2 red cloak not to enhance but to enchant for eurybia and lotis. Get you enchant to + 20- 30 for both lotis and eurybia for easier progression. There is no rush for this map as there is no incentive beating Sult, do it slow in order not to waste div on losing. Rank: M50 for easy completion Equipment: Mount: 6590, 5928 Armour: 2037 1877 1877 1566 1221 Hard NPCs: MF4 http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201110291541523 Freyja http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201110313404133 PF1 http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201111182532527 Hodr http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201111182627880 Sult http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201111182633198 RE: [Full Poseidon Guide] – From Trial to Temple! - Pluton - 04-09-2012 6) Beyond the Desert For Beyond the Desert you start unlocking the armaments. These are just the white ones which cannot be upgraded, but they are enough to get you through the Lost Temple map, so you can farm these and forget about the blue, green and yellow ones if you like. While doing this map you can slowly start recruiting heimdall, once you unlock them start training/washing them slowly, remember that you won’t use them until much later, so focus on your main heroes. If you have 3 Ares Armor you can start farming a Mjollnir from Forseti. After that continuing farming Ares armour, however you should easily get them from legion drops. Beyond the Desert can be finished really fast if you have Nereus fully trained. Get both red mount max, and get more gems for enchants. This map is very easy until the last 4 NPC. I complete without armaments and M48. But with M50 and armaments it should be very easy. Up till now, Cronus and Eris should be near max valor wash, Eurybia, lotis and Nereus should be near max spirit wash. Rank: M50 for easy completion. Equipment: Armour 2289(+24) 1877, 1877 , 1566 1221 Mount- 6590 (+24) 6565 (+24) Cloak- average 1200 Horn- 1030 300 230 230 230 Heros Lotis G12(9) +124 spirit Nereus G12(7) +116 spirit Eurybia G13(4) +113 Spirit Heimdall G11(9) +55 valor Eris G12(9) +102 valor Thoosa G12(7) +98 valor Cronus G12(10) +118 valor Amphitrite G12(2) +49 valor Hard NPCs: Sati- http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201111252039237 Sekhmet- http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201111271864308 Selket- http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201111271873078 Edjo- http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201111273754254 RE: [Full Poseidon Guide] – From Trial to Temple! - Pluton - 04-09-2012 7) Valkyries Rage For valkyries rage, once Edjo is down, you should have easily cleared till Thrud. However, what rest behind is an absolute nightmare with hildr being the worst. Skuld is relatively easy due to the fact that she don’t have a dodger and no mage. 1 bugler with 4 BM is the easier formation a map NPC can have. However, her valor hit alone can easily reap apart any armour. Once you reach valk rage, you need a max second ares armour, also valor enchant come into play to minimize Skuld damage. With the introduction of armaments, Valkyries Rage should be that tough anymore. Just do the follow steps 1. Up your assembly to level 117 (not 120 as laurels is sacred unless you can farm EGL) 2. Up all your tech to level 117 and all your mount. 3. Do 5 gardens if possible to get as many gems as possible 4. Use Plenty enchant as I personally find it most worthwhile till now. The starting few NPCs are easy. The first real test is vale with his 2 mage, followed by VG2 and VG4. VG2 shows the cracks in what we have lack so far, Cloak have to be enhance to be around 3000+ to ensure survival from VG2. VG4 and Rind have a horrible meteorite mage that can thin your troops severely To pass chilly mountain, especially Siegfried, enchant is the key. IF you have 2 spirit and 1 valor enchant at near + 80, it will make things a lot easier. Even then, passing Siegfried need a bit of luck as killing Siegfried requires lotis to crits while Sieg and Treefolk on not much crits. One of the toughest map you should have face so far, All your main hero should be ren to 117-121 range. If you hero is already ren to 117+ you might consider to continue leveling it up to 120 without further renning it. When I defeat Siegfried, my enchant is quite low however I have the aide of level 2 Spirit hit armaments and level 2 Valor Shield. Without them, you will need much higher enchant. Rank M50 (mandatory) Ephor Heros as of the defeat of Siegfried Eris- G14(7) +132 valor +7 valor enchant Thoosa G13(3) +98 valor Lotis G15(2) + 139 spirit +67 spirit enchant Eurybia G14(8) +140 spirit +38 valor ( +58 spirit enchant +29 valor enchant) ( I wont consider the valor stats added to it as very important) Cronus G14(7) +140 valor +54 valor enchant Nereus G14(8)+ 130++ spirit Equipment Mount 7145 7170 Armour 2730 2730 2237 1877 1566 Cloak 3526 2402 1500 1300 1200 Horn 1530 1050 970 330 330 Hard NPCs: http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201201093022801 Vale http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201201102871654 VG2 http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201201174082587 VG4 http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201201174088792 Rind http://b31.clapalong.com/?fid=N201202035683490 Seigfield RE: [Full Poseidon Guide] – From Trial to Temple! - Pluton - 04-09-2012 9) Lost Temple For lost temple, the NPCs hit really hard valor. However the really tough part is the dodging from the camel and the power of Anubis messager. Despite that, it can be a relatively easy map with Ra and Anubis beaten using gimmick win. In this map a few things must be done 1. Up your assembly to level 127 and max all tech at level 127 (this time include elemental penetration and blacksmithing) 2. Train up both heimdall and Heph. (syrinx Achilles only need to be level 80 without ren) 3. Max a Mjohllir and a red book from map reward. (give it a high elemental enchant) All this will requires about a month or 2 since no book or weapon have been use thus far. But once they are ready, Lost temple is really easy. RE: [Full Poseidon Guide] – From Trial to Temple! - Pluton - 04-09-2012 Question: How much time per day do you spend and how many training spaces do you have? vecspace: I am VIP 4 with 5 training space. I spend roughly 4 hrs (not full time) daily. I am home at roughly 1900 hrs and sleep at roughly 2400 hrs. But most of the time in that 5 hrs batheo is on but not really playing it. My fraction run SL roughly that time so it is easy for me |
