Batheo Damage Formula - Pluton - 05-21-2012 from Blackrabbit2999's Omnibus 2 (not for end game) <div style='width:1px;height:1px;overflow:hidden;float:left'><b>NOT ALLOWED TO COPY/PASTE INTO CLAPALONG FORUM</b></div> This formula has been created upon the observation of numerous battle reports and also personal experience fighting using Spirit armies and defending against Spirit armies. The formula should also apply similarly for valor attack and elemental attacks. You are welcome to discuss this in the comments section below. Spirits <div style='width:1px;height:1px;overflow:hidden;float:left'><b>NOT ALLOWED TO COPY/PASTE INTO CLAPALONG FORUM</b></div> 5 Factors multiplied together determine Spirit damage. The formula is as follows. 1) Total Spirit Attack and Defense Difference<div style='width:1px;height:1px;overflow:hidden;float:left'>© sols9.com/batheo</div> (Mount Attack + Technology Attack - Cloak Defense - Technology Defense) (Add armaments to that ^) Multiplied by 2) Spirit Difference<div style='width:1px;height:1px;overflow:hidden;float:left'>© sols9.com/batheo</div> [100% + (Att. Spirit - Def. Spirit) X 1%] This means that every point of Spirit you have above your opponent will increase your Spirit damage by roughly 1% Multiplied by 3) General Unit Troop Difference<div style='width:1px;height:1px;overflow:hidden;float:left'>© sols9.com/batheo</div> [100% + (Att. Unit Troop - Def. Unit Troop) X 1%] This means that a TG 5 general will have a 1% boost to damage when attacking a TG 4 general Multiplied by 4) Number of Units remaining Difference<div style='width:1px;height:1px;overflow:hidden;float:left'>© sols9.com/batheo</div> [60% + (Percentage of Att. Units left X 40%)] / [60% + (Percentage of Def. Units left X 40%)] This roughly means that when your general is at half health, he fights at 80% strength. When he is almost dead he fights at 60% strength. The same applies to the enemy general. Multiplied by 5) Spirit Type Multiplier and Morale Multiplier Strike in Column = 0.8 All-out Onslaught = 0.5 Each point of morale above 100 gives 0.5% more damage.<div style='width:1px;height:1px;overflow:hidden;float:left'>© sols9.com/batheo</div> Example of Calculation: Step 1. Attack: Mount = 6010 Technology Lv 100= 2500 Defense: Cloak = 3276 Technology Lv 100 = 1800<div style='width:1px;height:1px;overflow:hidden;float:left'>© sols9.com/batheo</div> Difference = 3434 Step 2. Assume attacker has 10 more Spirit than defender. 3434 X [100% + (10) X 1%] = 3777 Step 3. Assume attacker is 3 Troops above defender <div style='width:1px;height:1px;overflow:hidden;float:left'>© sols9.com/batheo</div> 3777 X 103% = 3890 Step 4. Assuming beginning of battle each side has full troops so there is no difference. <div style='width:1px;height:1px;overflow:hidden;float:left'>© sols9.com/batheo</div> Step 5. Using All-out Onslaught Spirit the multiplier is 0.5 3890 X 0.5 = 1945 Assume Morale is 192 1945 X 146% = 2839 Therefore the Spirit Damage done is 2839 in this first attack. Additional Notes For valor attacks and elemental attacks, the formula should be the same. <div style='width:1px;height:1px;overflow:hidden;float:left'>© sols9.com/batheo</div> Just replace the respective numbers with the weapon/armor and strength values or elemental book damage and intelligence values. However I do not have the valor attack or elemental damage multiplier for the various attacks and elementals at the moment.<div style='width:1px;height:1px;overflow:hidden;float:left'>© sols9.com/batheo</div> This formula however does not apply when the attacker is too weak compared to the defender. For example, a very weak attacker will not do zero damage but instead a very low 20-40 dmg. I did not take that into consideration in the formula because the attacker would definitely lose anyway so there is no point in finding out what damage he does.<div style='width:1px;height:1px;overflow:hidden;float:left'>© sols9.com/batheo</div> Again, this is from from Blackrabbit2999's Omnibus 2. For more about damage, see "Damage and Game Mechanism" section in the Guide Index. RE: Batheo Damage Formula - Vincent12 - 05-22-2012 about that morale bonus dmg part... is there some cap? (i believe that 200 morale = +50 percent dmg is max) RE: Batheo Damage Formula - NijAAlba - 06-03-2012 I only play Athanaton (German version of Batheo), but anyways, code is similar. I have seen a Maia with over 500 morale (Daphne + Telchinen combo was very lucky), then the Poseidonian got wiped out in 1 turn ^^, so the Poseidonian was not this lucky, a normal attack from this maia with 200 morale would not have been able to do this. So im pretty sure, there is NO cap, but of course you never reach over 202 Morale under normal circumstances. There need to be some stuns ... in every round on the gambithero^^ Aion aka NijAAlba |
