It looks like a lot of people are stuck on Thialfi...

Yes, we want our Thunder mage to hit, Cavalry to dodge, AND we want NPC thunder mage to fail, their BM to miss, their cavalry to not dodge, etc. It goes like this for most NPC fight in end game...
Discuss ways of defeating this NPC you think is the best

it shouldnt be a tough fight, think most people are just waiting to push all at once (at least i hope...)
