The mechanism of Anubis skill? - Moon - 10-27-2012

Although this has no impacts on our decisions, I'm just curious about it

It is said that the the damage started from high % of valor first then gradually move to % of spirit.

However, in this report, despite of its high damage from valor hit, its skills is kind of being weird

Well...first off Anubis is renned and only level 8. So that causes quite a reduction in damage. That being said he strikes with valor for 4.5 damage due to his weapon vs defenders armor, so 4.5k damage considering arms/techs etc with the 20 level difference seems plausible.

Now when he fires BM, the defenders cloak is now what reduces the incoming damage. So the defenders cloak in this case has reduced the incoming valor and spirit damage down to 2 points of damage. My guess is that the attacker has no mount on Anubis, only a weapon. So the cloak is able to reduce all of the incoming damage.

Disclaimer: All of this is just my best guess of what I see. Your guess or anyone else's guess may differ. I reserve the right to change my guess. Smile

hehe I guess its reasonable for "this" situation. The thing is there are several explanations depending on different BRs :p The lastest acceptable one is %valor is higher when full health. But according to this BR, it could be argued in the contradicted way. It seems like there's NO valor factor when he att. And I'm not sure what amrs should I go 1st when Anubis is my only bm, valor hit or spirit hit

I mapped this out a long time ago... out of curiosity.

Basically the valor component starts and 100% damage for full faculty, and drops to 50% at near 0 troops... as expected I guess based on every other hero in the game. The BM (Valor+Spirit) component is a more complicated curve, but if you chart it, then subtract the linear part/values from the valor, you can see the spirit component of the curve is somewhat exponential.

Valor is about 2/3rds of the BM's power at full faculty for a lv150. (BM being about 50% stronger than just valor alone).

At 10% faculty, Valor power has dropped (it's only 55% strength of full faculty valor), while spirit has risen to where it's now 90% of the BM strength. At 10% faculty, that spirit strength alone is worth about 5 times a full faculty valor hit.

Obviously will be vary with arms and mount strength, but my testing was done with a lv150 Anubis full renn'd, triple max washed, triple max enchanted, and a G15-10 Kylin and Mjollnir...

I have a graph of it kicking around somewhere.
