Washes for PVP - chete - 10-18-2011 Hi i've read that moral also helps on defense, i'd like to know if this is for pve or also for PVP, also i've noticed that when u wash a heroe, its really helpfull for pve, but there's not much diference or none at pvp, for example i tryed washing +99 spirit on a bugler, after that i tryed atacking someone, and i received the same spirit dmg on that bugler than when spirit was on +0, would be really thnx if someone could answer my questions (i read the moral defense thing here: http://sols9.com/batheo/Forum/Thread-Crash-and-Burn-HP-loss-aesthete) RE: Washes for PVP - Pluton - 10-18-2011 Correct, a hero with morale above 100 take less spirit damage in both PvP and PvE. (I'm not sure about valor and elemental). For spirit wash to be effective, you'll need a good cloak and good troop grade, since spirit attributes and troop grade increase cloaks' defense by a %. High spirit with low cloak won't do much difference... Well, too many factors influence the damage... RE: Washes for PVP - Pluton - 10-22-2011 Update: Orochi Wrote:morale actually only increases the spr part of the BM, simple way to prove it, go experiment with zeus blessing + any of the continuous bm heros which require valor+spr. RE: Washes for PVP - Armor - 10-22-2011 I don't know much about it, but there is also a relative spirit "effect." For example, if I have 255 spirit and I attack your guy with 100 spirit, your guy takes a lot of damage call it x. If your guy has 50 spirit, you still take x. If your guy has 150 spirit, you still take x. If your guy has 200 spirit, you still take x. If your guy has 201 spirit, you start to take less damage because it is within 1-55 of my spirit. So if your bugler is washed +100 from 49, he has 149 spirit. That won't help against my lotis washed to +130 + 60 ie 278 spirit. "X" being supposedly 50-55 according to tests run by chinese servers. so save yourself tons of laurels and gold, and do not dual/triple wash blindly. think about whether u can afford the additional enchants, for instance if u choose to dual/triple wash cronus and max ele.. u'll need to be able to enchant a red book+horn too, in order to utilise the elemental wash potential. if u cant.. then dont bother because any decent mage with enchant will have a >55 ele stat difference and render your cronus ele wash useless. RE: Washes for PVP - Prabhu - 10-26-2011 That's enlightening! You guys have something to surprise me almost everyday, lol RE: Washes for PVP - Pluton - 11-04-2011 post by Orochi i've said it a few times, ele wash on buglers is useless in later maps unless u can afford to enchant as well. because u need to hit a certain breakpoint in order to get reduced damage. and if maxed ele wash with +0 enchant can't hit that breakpoint, then it's the same as a +0 wash. in the screenshots : cronus ele stats = 183 asclep ele stats = 180 sult ele stats = 68 heim ele stats = 82 mist ele stats = 292 basically only mist gets reduced damage due to ele wash, because her ele stats are high enough thx to enchant. sult and heim have over 100 less ele stats than cronus and asclep, but they take less dmg due to added defense due to morale. in other words.. the 100 more ele stats on cronus and asclep.. does NOTHING because it isn't high enough. bear in mind this is only mid game, and meteorite mages have lower ele stats in comparison to the other mages. so it just gets worse. if triple washing and enchanting ele (which means u need a minimum of red book+red horn for each charc u intend to wash ele for) isn't an issue for u, then yes it'll help. if u can't afford it.. then it's just a waste of gold/laurels. those who use gold for ultimate wash won't bother much since there's a decent chance of all 3 stats going up together, but for those using laurels to dual wash... think before hand and save your laurels. |
