			<title><![CDATA[Ashlar Fights: Faction PvP for a few extra coffers]]></title>

			<description><![CDATA[So the first Ashlar Fights are over. (Poseidon won on S3 with 72 Ashlar and received 8 coffers).<br />
<br />
For those wondering what the Miracle Activity is:<br />
- this is a faction vs faction assault based on PvP fights in the New World.<br />
- Like Massive Assaults, it relies on PvP (instead of Gem Battle-like Legion fights). Unlike Massive Assaults though, you do not have to win an area to win... you need to accumulate stones (Ashlar) by launching PvP attacks. No specific area is required.<br />
- <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Deity purchase costs are lowered to a 1n scale</span> (1 gold, 2 gold, 3 gold, etc...) instead of the normal 3n scale.<br />
- <span style="text-decoration: underline;">Cool Down reduction costs are lowered by 1 gold. </span> A red CD can be eliminated by spending 7 gold (instead of the normal 8 gold).<br />
- seizing Ashlar (stones) occurs randomly, and can happen even when launching a losing attack. Even a suicide 10-0 loss can win Ashlar. Drop rates seem lower during losses vs Complete Wins... but that's just anecdotal, no stats on that yet.<br />

This activity's rewards are horrible. <br />
<br />
Dumping every coffer and deity you have into this activity in total dominance (ie. winning 72 Ashlar) results in only 8 extra coffers. Yes, not 800, and not even 80.... just EIGHT.<br />

1) Purchase costs of Map fragments follow <span style="font-weight: bold;">3n progression</span> (Cost = 3g, 6g, 9g, 12g, etc..). Game notice claims 50 quota can be purchased each day, making the last quota cost 150g.<br />

2) Sending caravans has a random map <span style="font-weight: bold;"><span style="text-decoration: underline;">frag drop rate of 25%</span></span>. (95%C.I. is 22.1% to 27.4%)<br />

3) Map frag colors are randomly assigned (VIP and Assembly level do NOT influence distribution).<br />

5) Gem rewards from a Prepared Archeology Activity is determined by the sum of maps in your 3 person group.<span style="font-weight: bold;">GEMS = 11+2B+4G+10Y+24R+50P</span><br />

6) Selling frags is possible, though the dracs are low and inadvisable unless you're selling white quota just to get a new map type (I, II, or III). 4k dracs, 6k, 8k, 16k, 32k, and 64k for W,B,G,Y,R,P respectively.<br />
<br />
There is no bonus for any particular sequence or combination. Map drop rates, color distribution rates, and map gem/jewel values means each caravan sent during activity should net <span style="font-weight: bold;">0.92 Jewels + 18.0 gems</span>. If you get 12 caravans a day, that's 11.0 jewels +215.7 gems per day.<br />
<br />
Jewels gained by using the 5g color upgrade results in the following cost:<br />

			<description><![CDATA[Here ya go. After 101 BRs, 362 attacks, I've found Inanna's crit rate is about 17%, and stun rate is 30%. <br />
<br />
The instance of both a crit AND stun is 5%. This verifies that they operate independently, and that the number above are very good estimates (0.3 * 0.17 = 0.05).<br />

REGULAR ATTACK CRITS</span> (=1.5x Valor attack bonus)</span><br />
All Mechs and BM's doing crits in valor mode (&lt;100% moral), ONLY get the crit bonus on the valor part of the attack. For BM's its normal for regular mode crits to be all valor anyway so that's not an issue. For pure mechs who only operate in valor mode, that's also a non-issue. It appears however that spirit mechs who crit, are only given valor bonus, not spirit. <br />
<br />
The bonus for pure-valor-crits is normally <span style="font-weight: bold;">1.5x stronger attack power</span>, which usually means damage at LEAST that much more than normal.. upwards of 1.8x if you're already getting powerful attack advantage, but as low as 1.5x when you're only doing minimal damage (the min damage amount in the damage formula also gets this 1.5 bonus, which is how we/I can work this out <img src="http://sols9.com/batheo/Forum/images/smilies/wink.gif" alt="Wink" title="Wink" class="smilie smilie_2" />). Average valor crits will be 1.6 to 1.7 that of normal valor attacks. <br />

Since spirit-mech regular attacks consist of BOTH valor and spirit, and the crit only applies to the valor portion, expect crits of 1.2x or so. Its not that you're not getting the same valor boost, you are, but the spirit isn't getting boosted. To get a spirit boost from a crit, you NEED to be a BM hero.<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span style="font-weight: bold;"><br />

BM Attack Crits </span>(1.25x spirit attack damage)<br />

Continuous BM heros who crit in valor mode, only get valor damage, and its the same 1.5x attack power increase (meaning it'll be 1.5 to as high as 1.8x total damage) as expected. The BM-mode crits for these continuous BM heros is more complicated, I'm still working to get data on this from Sult while tracking it against moral level. It appears though that continuous BM's only get a spirit crit bonus like pure bm heros do. It doesn't APPEAR that they get both... only one or the other depending on which mode their are in (reg vs BM).<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><br />

I may also do some low mechs for comparison (i.e. Odysses is a Trojan Horse, unarmored, and may crit a different rates than Phorcys). There are some other archers I'd like to test as well... later.<br />

You'll notice the lowest value is 150% damage, and as his TG levels up over time, the lowest crit rises to abotu 155%. Near the end there is a large jump, as I gave him a max'd out mjollnir for more damage. As expected, the damage % increased more than the minimum 150% (since crits only affect attacking power, not total damage done). The highest bonus I recorded was a 182% done with a max'd out Thrud hero with max weapons, valor jeweling, and G20 valor hit arms. For pure valor attacks, expect about 160% to 170% damage during a crit.<br />

As you can see in these running charts of calculated crit rates, you need about 200 samples to get things close.  Random variation plays a LARGE role in expected outcome over less than 50 attacks... and definitely less than 20 attacks you can get in a BR.  Things look very random until you sample about 200+ times...<br />

I may also do some low mechs for comparison (i.e. Odysses is a Trojan Horse, unarmored, and may crit a different rates than Phorcys). There are some other archers I'd like to test as well... later.<br />

Here's <span style="font-weight: bold;">Phorcys</span> crit rate and damage done:<img src="http://i45.tinypic.com/20rr6yr.jpg" border="0" alt="[Image: 20rr6yr.jpg]" /><br />
You'll notice the lowest value is 150% damage, and as his TG levels up over time, the lowest crit rises to abotu 155%. Near the end there is a large jump, as I gave him a max'd out mjollnir for more damage. As expected, the damage % increased more than the minimum 150% (since crits only affect attacking power, not total damage done). The highest bonus I recorded was a 182% done with a max'd out Thrud hero with max weapons, valor jeweling, and G20 valor hit arms. For pure valor attacks, expect about 160% to 170% damage during a crit.<br />

Here you can see <span style="font-weight: bold;">Thrud</span>'s crit rate run out to about 10%: <img src="http://i46.tinypic.com/qpqg0n.jpg" border="0" alt="[Image: qpqg0n.jpg]" /><br />
<br />
As you can see in these running charts of calculated crit rates, you need about 200 samples to get things close.  Random variation plays a LARGE role in expected outcome over less than 50 attacks... and definitely less than 20 attacks you can get in a BR.  Things look very random until you sample about 200+ times...<br />

mine is a "No VIP" Zeusian account. So I have one red horn only. I'm at level 150 and the formation is classical (Anubis, Sult, Oenomasus, Mist, Eurotas, 2 bugs, Heim, Asclepius). I have 2 maxed kylin and 1 Lv130 maxed Chimera ... 3 purple weapons .. All armaments are grade 4 ...<br />
I need some advice about what should be my next hero.<br />

			<description><![CDATA[Hi, i'm a lvl 140 zeus player currently stuck on iphitos. I use a full BM build with zeus. I was wondering if anyone had any advice for certain setups for iphitos, because he is very tough even for BM. Not only can he take BM hits easily but the mage behind him decimates my heroes pretty quickly, leading to many losses. I was thinking of eurus/orion for some huge hits but i'm not sure if it will work. I have near max gear/washes but he is still a problem for me. I will post my heroes and gear below.<br />

but a miniature sleigh and eight kylin err... raindeer.<br />

for a moment I thought it might be Saint Nick!<br />

More rapid than eagles and with napalmn they came, <br />
with fire raining down, he called them by name!<br />

I have recruited nut and as you can see here his attributes:<br />

I am wondering if can work if I go in Nils / Olimpia with 3 kylins and 3 mojhlirs. My idea is do a triple wash with him. I have not seen many Brs of Nut but I guess it´s maybe the people is not using a third kylin for an hero like this maybe they go as many people with Mist-Ray mage-Anubis-Sult-Chronus in that part of the expedition (Nils-Olimpia).<br />

My idea is have a third hero but not based in MB and i see the option of Thrud compare to this new guy won´t work as Thrud only hits with valor.<br />
<br />
any thought? any recommendation?<br />
