De-Gemming Red book / horses

Can anyone comment on how many gems they got from taking a +50 red book or horse back to zero?

I am just wondering whether to bother or to look to put these on buglers / minor tanks for long term use. I know it de-gems it in chunks but am wondering if you remotely get enough back to make it worth it?



For example i can use the red book on Odin as a minor ele soak gem piece of equipment.

Book - if you can afford to have another red horn and triple wash Oeno/Odin/future heroes or element wash cronus.
Mount - I'm not positive on that.

I'd disenchant both.

Keeping the book, i have ele double washed ophion and cronus, i plan to triple wash odin - so keeping it for definite.

Will have 4 red horns min.

Mount i just cannot decide on - need to think carefully, gems dont seem worth it (3 days worth max).

i disenchanted one of my red mounts... didnt have a use for it. would rather take the gems than have it sitting idle.

Got 520 for a +47 red horse, not great but 10 days saw my Kylin get to the same figure so not terrible.

The patch i think will give more gems for melting, it mentions it.
