Grepolis is a browser-based city building MMO game that is strictly PvP.
I used to play it and was the number 9 player on server 1 and number 4 player in my ocean on server 3, but then i got absolutely destroyed by 5 different players and lost all my cities and was forced to quit the game
BUT if you manage to be able to build up your defenses and join a good alliance than the game is ridiculously, I quit Batheo to focus solely on it as it does take up a HUGE amount of time to individually go and check on 150 cities, but the I got killed off and went back to Batheo, kind of glad for that, I like Batheo better.
If you want to check it out the link is just http://grepolis.com
HOWEVER, DO NOT CREATE MULTIPLE ACCOUNTS THERE, unlike ClapAlong, they actually crack down very hard on MA's.
Also It won MMO of the year for 2012 and 2011 (I'm not 100% positive for '11 but I know it was nominated), also Unlike ClapAlong, InnoGames (the company that run Grepolis) has regular sessions in their forums on what changes the players would like to see in the game and they are very good about implementing them in a timely fashion.
If you do start playing the game though, give it some time, just like Batheo the beginning can be a tad boring.
