These are not records; dietonight beat them at lower levels. I'm just throwing them out here because I worked quite hard for them (well... apart from Amphitrite who fell on 1st try).

Only 1 level higher and still only M43. 4 purple + 1 red weapon, 5 red armors, 2 red mounts, 5 yellow cloaks.

This is my first time beating a Group 2 NPC without M48+ prestige. Obviously would have been impossible without the Lv 180 update. Funny enough, Aphrodite is actually easier than Tantalos for such an unprepared account because she only has 2 columns that can attack. Even with red armors and Lv 59 (as opposed to the yellow armors dietonight had when beating Tantalos at Lv 58), Tantalos' valor damage is just too high to win without more defense heroes.

Kind of embarassed just how much gold I impatiently spent killing fast track and battle cds to get this win...

Note Crius' very low hero lv (although he was at max ren level); he also had a very pathetic +15/+18/+5 wash. That's why he was doing such unimpressive damage despite having a (G6)9 Athena's Spear. But I just felt compelled to get one more win today.

Was M44 for this fight rather than M43.

Had to get a little more serious with Crius for this one... As you can see, he has leveled up to 52. His wash also improved to +20/+46/+7. Once again, prestige at M44. Observe how Crius takes about 2x as much damage from valor attacks as dietonight's Crius did, despite having red armor in place of yellow. I guess washes and prestige are just that much more powerful than equipment color...

Don't expect much more from this run. Getting to halfway point of faction maps was hard enough with M50 and almost perfect double/triple washes on all heroes. Proteus is surely impossible. Calypso will be very hard and after that Aeolus is probably impossible without Zeus' Cloaks.

Calypso was intrinsically hard because of that very damaging fire mage, tough defense from the phantom phalanx, and general block & crit spamming. Took maybe 40-50 tries, something like that. Really needed Crius at max level. Wash was much improved but still not very impressive, at +46/+50/+9.

Daphne was intrinsically a lot easier, but still took ~8 tries because I kept having luck with the shadow and flaming cavalry at the top dodging everything I threw at them. But once I got that one div where they fought fair for a chance, I won.

Both wins were at M44. This is as far as this is going in Poseidon's for a very, very long time, if not forever. Next two NPCs have well defended meteorite mages. Aeolus is suicide at this low-ish prestige without Zeus' Cloak and might not be possible even with it. Peneus is definitely suicide, with or without Z-cloaks. Also, DieAssist is now at the same place as dietonight was before the Lv 180 update. Up to this point, Assist had the advantage of being able to equip purple weapons and red armors which dietonight didn't, an advantage that made up for the lower prestige, washes and variety of heroes. This advantage will no longer be there from now on. So in fact, it's quite likely that Assist will never pass at all, at least not without a few more levels.
