Recruiting heroes after faction maps (Poseidon)

I am almost at the end of faction maps. My lineup is Amphitrite Eris Hecate Asclepius Daphne. I have 3 red mounts, 1 maxed to G10 10, second midway and 3rd in chest. Got no purple weapon..
What heroes should i recruit now (and ditch who?) considering long term use, its painful to ren and wash heroes..
Heroes i'm concedering > Ares/Palaemon, Nereus/Hypnos, Hades, Eurybia, Triton..
I got a red weapon, is it enough for Phorycys?
Also who is better between ares vs palaemon, nereus vs hypnos and why?
What does Poseidon's total defense do?
Have only yellow books so not looking for a mage build..
Apart from the above heroes, any other hero i should consider?
Also please tell me pros and cons of the above heroes.
Please help me, i'm totally confused. .

Recruit Eurybia, she's a must in maps after Faction maps.
Palaemon is much better than Ares because of troop type and damage
Nereus is better than Hypnos, (attributes)
Hades is not good for lv 100+ maps.
Triton, you won't need until lv 130 maps.
Phorcys, well farming a Mjollnir later would be much better than enhancing red weapon now.

Poseidon's BM reduces valor and spirit damage taken by 67%. but does very little damage. Not needed.

Lotis is great and better than Daphne for PvP and Maps below lv 130.
You can keep Asclepius or remove him depending on how much he heals, 3 buglers can make up for dancer's fails...

TYVM for quick reply. I got Ares renned twice but still can replace him. Should i bring in Palaemon or some other BM hero in his place?
How much more damage does palaemon does compared to ares?

One more question, are prestige heroes better than mercenaries even if their attributes are a little low? Example lotis vs phologios? phologios got higher base spirit than lotis..

you should know that not only stats count you have to check their troops too, in this example phol may have better spirit but lotis's troop can crit and easily outdamage phol with that.

Yes, troop type is extremely important. That's why Palaemon>Ares, and Lotis>Phologios/Atelante. Can't tell you the exact damage, but it's an important difference.

It's not a coincidence that Maia, Lotis, Syrinx, Aether are all archers and really good heroes.

Please suggest me couple of good heroes to be used after Tartarus and Ragnarok. Have been using Daphne till now. . Thinking of ditching ares as haven't used him now and have eurybia. . Also got rhea in training. . Need to choose at least 2 more heroes so i can change my formation depending on opponent. . Also would it be a good idea to keep ares or replace him? What other heroes are good recruits atm? your help appreciated a lot. .

With this is mind has anyone had any success using Hel for PvE or PvP? Any Battle Reports on her?

I skipped past her due to her having slightly lower base stats and because I thought Sult would be a much better recruit. However after spending 125 divs and not able to recruit Sult, I moved ahead on the map and got Edjo instead.
