Just an FYI about Fimbulwinter. I have found that doing FW it is much easier to achieve GoW versus CV. It appears there are more bad setups in CV than there are in FW. Most of the time I have close to a minute to spare for GoW in FW. The only setup that even remotely comes close to preventing GoW is when Freyja is in the path towards Sult. But even when Sult locks one player up a slight adjustment in the attack order and GoW is still achievable.
