i'm not a big fan of TD- second class citizen compared to armored chariot/rally. First you need to charge bm, then you need bm to land for ability to activate, and lastly damage only reduced in half. So it has all the drawbacks of armored chariot and rally hero with no added bonus (other than higher damage compared to armored chariot).
Metis is still very useful for farming purposes and offers the high win rate, high equip, low luck method to map progression. If your arms and enchants are good enough can use metis as meat shield rather than be dancer/rally reliant and have to spam your way through.
