Mid game pvp setups/formations for each faction - Third

Here is a guide, it gives the better pvp formations for each faction, and when/how to use specific heroes.
It assumes you are not capping your levels.


This guide is for players lvl 100+, without rhea/sult, with M40+ ranking

The gear requirements for all the following builds only require 2 mounts or 1 mount + 1 book


Poseidon:

Hero:

Hephaestus: A must if you are vip4+ player (purple books and red horns for +element enchants), double wash (valour+element) minimum.

Palaemon (Alternative to Hept): Second best sally-outburst hero in game (higher damage than Aether, but cannot dodge and has lower growth).

Lotis: Extremely strong hero. Best placed in the bottom column for maximal effectiveness.

Eurybia: Best morale-suppression hero in game. double wash (valour+spirit) for late game pve.
Only use for pvp when enemy has 3+ bm in formation.

Triton: Best crash-n-burn hero in game. Must have a dancer to use with him.
Best to strategically place him to take out priority targets.


Formation:

Up to the point until you have Rhea/Sult, best pvp comes from 1 dancer,2 bug,(Hept/Palaemon),(Lotis/Eurybia/Triton).

Best formations to use are Cresent, Skein, Boar's Head. And Gramarye if you have hept.



Zues:

Heros:

Zues: Must have, he's the only advantage to have if you are Zeusian. Double wash(valour+spirit) for pvp/pve.

Hera: Best stardust hero in game. Must for pvp.

Notus: PVE hero, ok for pvp if enemy has 3+ bms in formation.

Maia: Best zeusian pvp hero for sub 100, still good in 100+ but only with Zeus support.


Formation:

As zuesian, you don't really have many good choices in mid-game pvp, you shall stomp enemies early game with dancer+3bugs+maia,
but that dies off at lvl 100 when people finally get time to enchant clocks.

At 100+, before rhea/sult, best zuesian pvp formation is Zeus, 2 bugs, hera, maia

Use Inverted-Wedge formation, 1st bug, 2nd zues, 3rd hera, 4th bug, 5th maia.
Only weakness of this formation is morale-suppression, but hopefully zeus and hera can dodge that.



Athena:

Hero:

Dionysus: Best mutiny hero in game, extremely strong pvp/pve. Must have double wash (valour+spirit) for pve.

Aether: Best sally-outburst hero in game. Must for both pvp/pve.

Hemera: 2nd best stardust hero(higher base damage than hera, but cannot crit/dodge).

Syrinx: Best strike-column, highest crit-chance hero in game.

Asteria: ...... This mage will make or break you.
NOT recommended for fighting anyone that's around the same level or level lower than yourself.
However it is EXTREMELY recommended to use her to fight someone that's one or more tier above you.


Formation:

dancer, 2 bugs, Aether,syrinx - Here you want aether and syrinx to hide behind dancer and bugs, so they don't lose hp from normal valour hits.

dancer, 2 bugs, Aether,(Hemera/dio) - hide aether and put Hemera/Dio in the front row where they can absorb morale from attacks.

2 bugs, asteria, aether, (hemera/Dio) - just make sure u sacrifice a virgin everytime u go into battle!

Third:

Lots of prestige heroes dies off after the 120 maps, this being the survivability drops and damage output with red mount is no longer significant. However, with a purple mount, their effectiveness carry on into the 130-140 maps no problem at all.

In 130+ maps, the viable prestige heroes are:

For zuesian, zues, hera, notus, and a thunderstorm mage
For athenians, aether, asteria, the oneori
For poseidonians, eurybia, hept, and a thunderstrom mage


All factions should have a thunderstorm mage trained, it is required for some places in 140+ maps where u simply can't tank npcs anymore.


And like the above posts, the only mainstream recruitables with a long term usage are Heimdall, sult, mist and the lost temple boss for our current version.
The other 100+ recruitables are either extremely situational,short term usage, or cost too much for its limited use.

lvl 110
Cronus - must have, only bug with good faculty and high stats.
Sult - must have, good pvp and pve until 140.
Heimdall - must have for to recurit Anubis with any efficiency, also helps on all 130+ maps.

lvl 120
Edjo - good pvp hero, but short lived, only get if u are not fast pushing maps. Anubis will replace him.
Mist - good hero for both pvp/pve, she make life easier on 140 maps (for all 3 faction, but especially so for athenians and zuesians)
Skuld - no need until 150 maps, he will be able to tank hybrid mages(like isis) best, but not necessary

lvl 130
Anubis - must have, 100% required to pass 140 maps without spending 100+ divs.
