it applies for valor and elemental too.

For example, if I have 255 spirit and I attack your guy with 100 spirit, your guy takes a lot of damage call it x. If your guy has 50 spirit, you still take x. If your guy has 150 spirit, you still take x. If your guy has 200 spirit, you still take x. If your guy has 201 spirit, you start to take less damage because it is within 1-55 of my spirit.
So if your bugler is washed +100 from 49, he has 149 spirit. That won't help against my lotis washed to +130 + 60 ie 278 spirit.
correct. it's not just for spirit though, it's the same for valor and elemental too.
basically before u dual or even triple wash a hero, make sure it's base stats aint too shabby. for instance.. asclep's base spr is 30... it's pointless to wash for spr since any hero above 85 spr (assuming equal enchant), will do full damage to asclep, be it with +0 spr wash, or with +150 spr wash.
why?
because there's a simple mechanic, whereby if the stat difference between attker and defender is > "X", attker does max dmg, and defender takes max dmg. if the stat difference is < "X", then the dmg starts decreasing to the point where minimal dmg is dealt/taken. "X" being supposedly 50-55 according to tests run by chinese servers.
so save yourself tons of laurels and gold, and do not dual/triple wash blindly. think about whether u can afford the additional enchants, for instance if u choose to dual/triple wash cronus and max ele.. u'll need to be able to enchant a red book+horn too, in order to utilise the elemental wash potential. if u cant.. then dont bother because any decent mage with enchant will have a >55 ele stat difference and render your cronus ele wash useless.
