I wanted to know if using Kratos compared to Hermes will work against Odin, or the additional spirit hit points of Hermes over Kratos will be a deal breaker.
Can anyone who has seen Kratos in action against Odin, please reply??
For information purposes, it seems the chinese brs listed for babel are either incorrect or batheo have changed babel in our version, im up to nanna, the 7th npc and 1st recruitable hero and on lookin at chinese brs see that they differ completely :-)
Have you got a map BR for Jord versus npcs with her using +125 or better valor gear and ele gemmed to 130+?
I want to see her at MAX, near 100% to see what she can do. You seem to have the best valor gemming of those players ahead of me (albeit only by a single ren)
one thing largely lacking from CA forums is the ability to post offsite links. For that reason, there seems to be a large degree of narrow-mindedness.
I would like to suggest a question oriented thread about records and mechanics to facilitate Batheo players' ability to set NEW records.
Although i will retire again after reaching 160, I am happy to answer questions and provide reports to guide more patient players in their achievement quests.
1. level Orefield to lvl 50. Similar to the Assembly, it caps the level limit for all your other gemtown builds and increase basic production. This building has the longest CD ever.
2. level Camp to lvl 50. Every 5 level give 1 extra gatherer. level 50 should give 10 extra gatherers thus doubling your ore production.
3. level Orefield to 140 (or max for players under lvl 140) to unlock Workshop. Workshop reduce the ore consumption of all other gemtown buildings.
4. Once you unlock the Workshop, level it to 100 and stop. You may choose to level it more, but the benefit margin decreases rapidly as the ore req increase more and more but the % saving on you gain is the same for each extra level.
5. After you are happy with the Workshop level, max Camp
6.Level the Mine I, II and III as they become available, they provide same bonus, so level the one with cheapest upgrading cost first.
7.Storehouse: You don't need to be concerned about this building. The 1000 gem initial storage space is plentiful already. Upgrade as needed.
8.Garrisson: The more often you get pilleged, the more worth while this building becomes, it lets you save a little extra with each upgrade.
9.Foundary: Only good for high vips with 8+ building space, AND don't mind spending a little extra to build things faster. To enjoy the full benefit, level it asap to save building time on the Orefield as that one takes the longest time.
10.Refinery, Institute, Smelter, Guardroom are all good buildings. Should be upgraded to 100+ after leveling the Mines.
11.Jade Pavillion is a building that's more profitable for super-vips(as in those who buy and cut red/purple jade on a daily basis) than low/non-vips. Max lvl 100 for the ordinary people.
Side Note: The gemtown is a a long-term investment, normally takes around few months to get full
return on your investment. Many (almost all other than Orefield) are not necessary to be maxed. Leveling some of the buildings to max (160 in our current version) will almost indefinitely extend the return period on your ore investment.
And what is coming?? Do we get anything good like kylins or zeus cloaks? (i am looking to avoid the commission pain, its been 4 weeks for my first kylin)
This is the last installment to my in-depth preview of 160 update. Obviously, I have left out some small details. However, some larger aspects of this update have also been purposely left out (namely what was included as intermediary updates between 160 and 170 update in chinese version- which I assume will be included in our 160 version update). Can't give everything away :p
Lost Temple Dungeon
The 8 NPCs are: Isis, Geb, Osiris, Nut, Seth, Shu, Ra, and Anubis
The reward for GoW is 20 chests with the possibility of 2 additional chests to be picked up (for a total of 22 max).
Osiris launches storming attack (i.e. cronus in Tart) that stuns for 15 seconds. Anubis launches resurrection which brings an NPC back to life.
Getting GoW is tricky, but as with other dungeons figuring out the correct approach should lead to 90% GoW (i won't include a guide to GoW cus then it wouldn't be much fun :p)
Supreme Challenge (new world only)
I'm not sure if it will be included in our update, but I hope it is. It was very well received on chinese servers and lots of disappointed/angry players when they discontinued the activity. (It's also more efficient gems per div than dungeons)
I will refer to the fights as "NPCs"; however, they are in fact NPC clones of players (same server?) of varying levels in whatever formation they were in at start of activity.
Rules
1. Each supreme challenge activity lasts for 7 days (obviously more fun than "Be the hero" or the other lame 7 day activities)
2. Challenges consume divs; however, do not affect attack CD
3. All NPCs may be repeatedly hit, but only initial to defeat will receive coffer
4. Defeating NPC will result in accumulation of points depending on difficulty (0-160), only highest score will be shown
5. Can inspire (up to 10-10 as always) to defeat NPCs- this will be needed especially for lower levels to beat top level players at 160% strength (even then might not be able to win)
