1. Pick hero. There's many different qualities to heroes you should know about and I have learned as I played this game for almost a year now.
Washing attributes is tedious and hard work, sometimes frustrating. But as I learned the tricks to was faster than ever, I sometimes know what I'm doing.
One of the major things to look at first is how to wash your heroes properly. A hero that builds morale and shoots BMs obviously need high spirit. While valor units like the catapults need valor washes. And mages always need elemental except for cyclone and sunstorm mages because of their ability being set in stone.
So that leaves military bands, buglers, and dancers. I'd suggest double wash or even triple wash if you can and are patient with it. It is very possible to triple wash anything but the cost will be that much greater and take so much more time to do so.
Then there's certain units that you'll want to double wash to be effective. These are units that have the sally attack (successive BMs), Armored Charge Attack, or just about every hero after the faction maps. These such heroes will need valor and spirit washed. Yes, even the mechs past the faction maps all need a valor and spirit wash to be effective. As for the column mage, Mist, I understand that Mist needs valor or spirit plus elemental to be effective (Need a good hard reference on this).
From my own understanding, even a few mechs will need a good spirit and valor wash as well, such as cyclops armored chariot so they become near impossible to kill.
On to washing. Washes are like this: Max +20 over hero level for a single attribute. So if your hero is 60, then +80 is max. Just basic, but I need to start here before moving forward.
As for washing, the easiest way I have learned is to save at least 200,000 to use just for washing before anything else. If you are VIP 3 at lvl 101 you get a free platinum wash daily, which is cool because you can use it as a stat kickstart. DON'T SPEND GOLD ON WASHES! It is a waste of time, you should do the same thing with laurels.
As for washing, you select your hero, select wash, and maintain or take the new wash if it's higher in the category you want. You focus only on that category, sink as many laurels, always selecting the higher numbers. Sometimes if you get in a slump and the number doesn't go up, select a lower stat, for instance, you have a +47, take a +45, keep going, it will pick up a higher stat and keep building up.
For double washing, focus on two numbers, keep them within 20 points of one another, and always select the higher number of the stats.
For triple washing, this is the trickiest, I spent a million laurels to triple wash a bugler but was well worth the effort in the end with a +111/+102/+97 stat. Anyways, to do this, you will always pick the higher stats of all 3, keep the math simple, choose higher, and only keep the stats if they're within 30 points of the highest to lowest stat. That's all I have to say about that.
For any issues, to kickstart stats if they're refusing to go up, just choose stats slightly lower than the stats you want and keep building them up. They will become high very quickly.
These are my tips I have learned over time. I hope they will be of use to you.

What the washing does:
They increase the durability to a particular type of attack. For PvP, buglers, dancers, and military band, high spirit washes are appropriate since the majority of players use BMs for effectiveness. For the PvE environment, valor and element will be of major use.
They increase power to certain attacks, such as the BM, elemental strike, or a valor hit.
Some require higher stats in two categories to become more effective. Such as Armored Charge Attack, which is 60/40 valor to spirit ratio or something like that. Sult, Rhea, Hel, Heimdall, Edjo, and all the other sally heroes depends on valor more than spirit. So a high emphasis on valor should be used since the ratio's closer to 60/40.
I'm not the number cruncher, I've just been experimenting with the numbers for 9 months.
As I said, this is what I have learned, and I hope this all helps you out. I'm still learning this game.
The fighting order of the Legion or Faction Battle is arranged by your level. You will have a fixed position according to your level among the players when you enter the battle field. The low level players would be put in the front, and the highest level players would in the last.
Here's the numbers arrangement of the fighting order:
If several players lvl are the same, they will be arranged randomly. The order has no relation with VIP status. Should this change it will be posted as an 'added advantage' on the VIP page.

You will notice that they may not always come out exactly like this due to the way the fight is computed internally. Some battles will take 20 rounds so you might see a level 120 come out while level 110s are still behind the lines, but in actuality the 110 technically fought first from the computer's viewpoint.

Servers to Be Merged
Server mergers will be implemented on the first 16 servers, with 2 servers to be merged into a new one. The name of the first server will be adopted as the merged server's name. For details please see below:
Server Merge Rules
1. If a gamer has multiple characters in the merged servers, all characters will be kept. When the gamer logs in the game after the server merge, they will be offered to choose a server. Gamers can only log in with one character at a time.
2. If a gamer has several characters in the merged servers, they will have to exit the game and log in again to choose a character.
3. If several characters with the same name end up on the new server after server merger, the higher level will keep his name.
* If the gamer with a lower level logs in the game before the higher-level gamer after the server merges, the gamer will be prompted to rename the character; otherwise, the gamer will be added a serial number after his character name, like "Name1".
* If merged characters have the same level, the first one to log into the new server will keep their name. The others will have to rename their characters.
4. If two leagues with the same name end up on the same server, the higher level league will keep its name. The lower-level league will have the number "1" added after its name, for example, UFO (the higher-level league) and UFO 1 (the lower-level league).
5. After servers merge, League Farm occupation, gamer's Farmland and Silver Mine occupation and Colony may be cleared.
6. After servers merge, the higher city Prosperity of the two servers will be taken into the new merged server. The Faction Occupation Rate of the merged server will be the average value of that of the two original servers.
7. Gamer's items in the Chest will be kept during the server merger.
8. After server merger, the characters that are at Lv 19 or below, have not purchased Gold and have not logged in the game for 30 days will be deleted.
9. All other aspects of servers will remain the same as that of the original server. Note: Do not save important information in the in-game mail. Any information that lost during server mergers cannot be recovered.
About Gamers' Accounts
1. About Creating Characters
Creating characters in the first 16 servers will not be allowed the day before server mergers until after the server mergers are finished.
2. Deleting Abandoned Accounts
All accounts of the characters that meet the following 3 conditions at the same time will be deleted during the server mergers. Deleted characters cannot be recovered.
* Have not logged in the game for 30 days.
* Level of characters at Lv 19 or below.
* Have not purchased Gold.
About Compensation
Every gamer will get 50 Gold, 200,000 Drachmas and 10,000 Laurels as compensation. The compensation will be delivered to gamers' accounts during server mergers.

It is originally posted by graydust in Dynasty Saga forum. I have made minor changed to the names so Batheo players can understand better. Dynasty Saga is the direct english conversion of this game from asia, Batheo uses the exact same gameplay except for names.
I have highlighted all important changes in red
Faction system
A. After spring 208AD, a king will be elected from those who is lv 80+ and have M50 title at 8:00 pm spring every fourth year. Highest level player among them will be the king. If many of the same level, highest prestige one will be elected.
The tour of duty for the king is four years. He can confer three different level of title of nobility(Count, Marquis, Duke). The king and the nobilities will have boost on attack/defense and other welfare.
(P.S. As far as I know there's no other welfare other than attack/defense boost in this version.)
B. You'll see kings and the nobilities of other faction on wanted poster. The one who defeat them first everyday will get extra reward.
(P.S. In online version, the first 2 will get extra prestige when defeating them. King = 4000, Count = 3000, and so on. And by defeating the king and nobilities will earn more allegiance. No other extra reward.)
C. The king can mark players in his faction as a spy. All action done by and apply to the spy won't affect occupation(That means invest, attack, being attacked). A spy cannot join region war.
(P.S. You can only mark players equal or below lv 100 as a spy.)
Armament system
A. Campaign from Desert on will drop armament fragment. Five fragments can merge into one armament.
(P.S. Actually it's from Desert on, and the drop rate is pretty high.)
B. There is total seven kinds of armament. It increase valour attack/defense, spirit attack/defense, spell attack/defense, and faculty respectively.
C. Armament also have color to differentiate their quality. You can use a level 0 armament of the same kind and jades to upgrade a armament. The max level of armaments of different quality is different.
(White drop in deserts, Blue in Valk, Green in Chilly, Yellow in Temple, Red in 140 maps)
(P.S. It costs 100 or 150 gems per upgrade, I can't remember. And the success rate is VERY LOW. white armament can level to level 0, blue to level 1, green to level 2, yellow to level 4, red to level 6. There's no purple currently.
The base value aka level 0 armament is the same among different quality. So if you don't plan on upgrading it, every "color" is the same at grade 0.)
Combo system
A. There will be a "suggest targets" at world interface.
B. Attack suggest targets and win continuously will grant you more prestige.
Title system changed
A. Player who reach next title will see a "promotion" prompt at title interface. When promoting, player will get 3 times of salary as a reward.
B. After upgrade to new version, all player will start from civillian and can claim the promoting reward.
(P.S. that means you'll keep your prestige and you'll be back at title 0. You can raise your title back and claiming all the promoting reward.)
Farm and Mine system changed
A. There will no longer have mail sent to you indicating your farm and mine status. Instead, they'll be shown on right side of farm and mine interface.
B. There will be at most 8 messages.
New campaign (These are chinese names, we will certainly get something from norse/egyptian/greek myth)
A. Song Dynasty and Water Margin. Max level raised to 140.

Best trainers to activate in order for EXP: (without Gold)
Activate Forseti, Tyr, Hel, then Siegfried.
(Siegfried will save you TP for trainers with 250 TP and above. If you activate trainers below 250TP with Siegfried, the TP loss is still insignificant.)

You can make a choice now: 2 Methods
Activate Hyperion permanently or Activate [Mousika+Hyperion+Coeus+Loki] combo when you get enough Talent Point.
Permanent Hyperion: you get 130% EXP with 195% EXP (20% chance).
You will get just enough Talent Point to reactivate Hyperion once your points runs out.
[Mousika+Hyperion+Coeus+Loki] combo:
For 1% EXP:
Coeus/Loki cost 67/80 Talent point if you have both Mousika AND Hyperion active.
Coeus/Loki cost 100/120 Talent point if you have Hyperion ONLY active.
Coeus/Loki cost 200/240 Talent point if you have Mousika ONLY active.
Your best choice is to save enough talent point (4140) to activate them all for 130% EXP with 390% EXP for 30% chance!
Keep Agamemnon, Oedipus permanently active as they are still cheaper than this combo.

This means ~500 Fast Tracks without this combo, and 100 FT with this incredible 390%EXP, careful to not train over your renascence level! This combo is only slightly more cost effective (13 TP) than permanent Hyperion method.

I do not suggest to cap your level at lv 80, move to lv 100 area and start refining as soon as you can!
----- Introduction -----
Alchemy Lab appears when the Assembly gets to Lv 82. You can refine stones to get Drachmas once Alchemy Lab upgrades to Lv 82. The price of the stone refined relates to the price level of the area (Click the area in World View to check the price level of this area). The higher the price level, the more Drachmas you make. The benefit will be doubled if you have Twofold Transmutations during refining. The higher the Transmutation of your Alchemists, the higher the odds of Twofold Transmutation. Refining is another way to get a great deal of Drachmas besides fighting Silver Mine Wrestle.
----- Chemical Substance -----
You have the first alchemist when your Assembly reaches Lv 82. Once the experience of an Alchemist reaches 100%, he is upgraded to the next level. The level limit for each Alchemist is 10. Only after the previous Alchemist reaches Lv 10 can the new Alchemist begins to earn experience. The level of the stone you can refine is limited by that of your Alchemists’. The higher level of the stone the Alchemist refines, the lower the success rate, but the more experience he gains. Succeed or fail, each gamer can only refine for 10 times every day. But members of VIP 8 or above can buy extra quota with Gold, that’s, 20 Gold per extra refine for the first five times, 50 Gold for each of the 6 to 10 times and 100 Gold after the tenth time.
----- Assembling Group Vs. Joint Refining -----
There are two buttons in refining interface: Assemble Group and Joint Refining.
You can refine all by yourself in Assemble Group. In this mode, you can find two of the latest items you’ve refined. If the stone you refine can make a fortune, you can put a league restriction on the grouping.
Or you can refine with other gamers in Joint Refining. In fact, you can benefit a lot this way. Firstly, you have a chance to refine higher level stones that are beyond your Alchemists’ ability. Secondly, the success rate and transmutation rate of your Alchemists combined with that of your group mates’ are much higher. Thirdly, when you Renascence an Alchemist, he will have no chemical substance for Success Rate or Transmutation before Lv 5 and Lv 10, other gamers can help you out with their success rate and transmutation.
